Overdue?

Yes, I am still here. Yes, I am still pregnant. And though it's pretty obvious that my situation is thus, people can stop asking me that now. My due date isn't even for another 9 days and already I'm getting the "No baby yet? Wow." Ha. It really doesn't bother me that much, mostly I just think it's funny. And I feel sorry for people who go two weeks overdue and get to hear those kind of comments for 4 weeks. I'm sure that can be a tad aggravating. Hopefully that won't be the case with me. Though now that I've said that, I've probably totally jinxed myself.

While there is no baby yet, I'm going nearly crazy. A) because 38 weeks was like my unofficial due date (going by Jacob's birth) and so I already feel overdue and B) Jay laughs every time I get out the vacuum and cleaning supplies. Which tends to happen a LOT more than usual. Can you say nesting? Ya. I'll admit it. In the last 2 weeks I've probably done top-to-bottom cleaning 4 or 5 times. Kind of silly, I know. But I can't help myself! I want this place to be clean when baby comes, and he/she keeps giving me false alarms/hopes. So we're still cheering for baby to make an appearance before the 11th (my REAL due date), but until then, I guess I'll be content cradling a bottle of Lysol and the broom.
