Jacob Two-Two

In two years, Jacob has gone from this:

TWO YEARS. WOW. Jacob is such a little angel (or at least his nursery leaders think so... haha) and he's just the best big brother. He's always bringing Gema her "oof" (soother) or going to find a toy for her when she's sad. A hug from lil sis brightens his day tenfold, and he's always asking for hugs from her. He likes to be just like dad and insists on wearing daddy's shoes, hat, mittens, or other pieces of clothing.

He has a fun imagination and builds houses out of lego blocks for his trucks and makes his animals drink milk out of his little toy barn. He likes to tell his toys and stuffies to "sit".

Jacob loves trains and trucks. He especially likes to point them out, which means that any outing involves a whole lot of "ca ca ca ca" (car) and "chuck chuck chuck" (truck) or "choo-choo" if he happens to see a train. He loves to play out in the snow, which he calls "no". Franklin on Netflix is his favorite show and he often walks around asking to watch "frinky". He's learning his name and calls himself "Jaboc". He sure is a bright little boy and he likes to learn his colors and shapes. True to his age, he is a master at throwing tantrums at inopportune times, like when I'm on the phone, or when we finally let him out of the cart at Walmart. He's making up words all the time, though he likes to play copycat and often tries to mimic us. Some of his new words are: "incubeya" for Mr. Incredible; "Jubba-Lou!" for Gema Lou; "Wan" for "I want that"; "much" for "I love you very much" and tons of other words that only Jay and I can translate.

He loves to help me cook and as soon as he sees the bowls and spoons come out he's running over and asking to help (which means he gets to make a nice big mess with his own bowl and spoon and some flour). He also likes to help wash dishes and play in the bubbles.

We love our little man to bits and wish him a very happy birthday!
