Missing you

Well, Jay has been gone to Portland all week for a weeds science conference. In the 2 1/2 years we've been married, the longest we've been apart was for 2 days, when Jay went to a weeds conference in Regina in November. Needless to say, I miss him a lot. A lot a lot. My mom came to help lessen the load, but she flew back home today so I'm on my own for the next few days. Even Jacob misses him and it's so cute. He picks up his little play cell phone, holds it backwards to his ear and says, "Da?" ADORABLE. But it makes me want to cry. Being away from my hubby sure makes me realize how good I got it. I've found a man who loves me unconditionally, flaws and all -- and I've got a fair share (or more) of those. He's always kind and patient with me, especially when I get into my crazy-irrational-hormonal rants. I sure love my man and as cliche as it sounds, I cannot possibly imagine life without him. He IS my life. Since he's been gone, I've been doing a little reminiscing... Our datingdays of summer 2008 (sidenote: I also miss my wicked tan, though admittedly I miss Jay a bajillion times more)
