I must say that even though I've been semi-diligent about blogging regularly, there have been some things I left out... mostly due to my hare-brained brain. So feast your eyes upon these little nuggets of goodness...

My first-ever lattice-work blueberry pie. Note to self:

Never refreeze partially thawed berries. The ice block resulting from re-thawed refrozen berries can prove to be quite defeating. And frustrating. And impossible to penetrate. Did I mention that it was frustrating?

My brother Sam, his wife Nicole and baby Emily came to visit us!! YAY for visitors! Thanks for the great weekend guys! This is us mommas and babes in the phytotron at the U of S.
