We took Jacob to the Saskatoon Zoo for the first time last week and he was in absolute awe of all the different creatures we saw. Mostly he was fascinated by the peacocks that roamed wild all over the park. We had to keep a careful eye on those things to make sure they didn't peck his eyes out when he wanted to get closer. He could've chased those peacocks around for hours!
Jacob sure loves his newfound independence since he's discovered running, though he was always careful to keep us in sight.
His favorite thing to do out of the stroller? Help mommy push. And the only way he's satisfied to push the darn thing is if he's holding the handles. Sure is fun!
Pointing is Jacob's newest quirk. Accompanied by "bababa!" Whatever that means.

Afterwards we did a little baby-consignment-store shopping to find Jacob some new shoes. Who knew they had little baby carts just for Jacob! Wish we could have brought it home.
